A gift certificate for cooking lessons with Chef Lia. Our first and initial reaction was the same.....What an awful gift!!!!! What were these people thinking. I hate to cook, haven't cooked in years, and really don't want to.
Months went by, and I started to get the urge to make my husband happy with a home cooked meal......So......I decided to finally make the call to Chef Lia. Set up an appointment. She came to my house with the groceries for the menus I chose, some of the utensils I didn't have.....
All I can say is WOW!!!!!!! Her enthusiasm and love for cooking generates. Her knowledge of food, knowledge of why we use certain utensils,the correct way to use them, her organization in a kitchen.....I could go on and on. She has made it so, that I am now asking for recipes even when I don't have classes with her.
