Danielle McMurray (Long Island)
Danielle received training to practice Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods. She decided to become a health counselor to fulfill her passion for helping time-deprived, stressed out men and women understand how simple, easy and delicious it is to live a healthy life and cook food they love.
She has also received culinary training at the French Culinary Institute, and has over 12 years of experience giving private cooking classes. When she teaches, she will go to your home because she believes that learning in your own kitchen and with your own tools is the best way to make healthy and delicious cooking a reality and something you can rely on for life. The more you are comfortable with cooking, the more healthy food choices you can make for yourself and your family. And you don’t have to worry about cooking healthy with Danielle as she will never sacrifice the taste. Healthy cooking will become more enjoyable than you can imagine. Class by class, or hand in hand with Danielle's health counseling, you can make lasting changes in your diet and lifestyle...and have fun doing it!
